Hello,

First let me thank you all for your help and support for the B'Nai Jacob Torah. Everyone just raved about the service and how moved they were. This all happened because we all believed in it and how special it could be.

Some say to me they didn't do much. I totally disagree. If it wasn't for all of us embracing this idea none of it would have happened. We all did a great Mitzvah. I am also writing this to talk about what is next. Well, can all of you imagine yesterday without Cantor Emily Sleeper Mekler? My father in law said to me she make's so much of a difference in the service. You need to do what you have to do to hold on to her.

Short term is to raise money for the music fund. Long term is to increase our membership to help with our financial picture. I strongly believe with our Cantor and new people sharing our service when Cantor is here, that will drive membership. Cantor Mekler needs us to help her with this music fund and I hope that we make this as successful as yesterday.
