On February 22, 2009, fourteen TBH members shared a meal and dialogue with about 28 members of the Muhammad Islamic Center of Greater Hartford. The Imam and an Islamic Center member each gave us an overview of Islam. Another Islamic Center member spoke about the history of Islam in America. The Rabbi spoke a bit about Judaism and the floor was opened for questions. We concluded with a presentation of gifts.

On the left is Imam Kasheif Abdul Kareem of the Muhammad Islamic Center of Greater Hartford, who is the Imam (spiritual leader) of the Mosque. He is presenting TBH with a copy of the Qur’an. On the right, Rabbi Glickman is presenting a Torah commentary to the Islamic Center. The gentleman in the middle is the Mosque member Muhammed who spoke about the history of Islam in America.
