A Proper Memorial

As I guess by now you all know of the passing away of Louise Shook. Louise & Herb have been members of Temple Beth Hillel for over 32 years. The Shook family has been one of the backbones of our congregation.

As the Rabbi has said, “It is fitting that we honor her memory in a visible, dignified and lasting way.” With this in mind, the board would like to have the One of a Kind Architectural Wall Unit proposed by the Art Committee, dedicated in Louise’s honor. Mason Rapaport, who is a master craftsman, told the board that if we give him the go ahead no later then June 1^st he could have the project done and installed prior to the High Holidays.

The cost of this fantastic wall unit is $25,000. Between now and June 1^st we hope to raise the money for the project. Please consider donating whatever you can for this tribute to Louise. Please make your checks out to Temple Beth Hillel – Art Fund and on the memo line write “wall unit”. Thanks.
